Stepping into my second year as President at Pearl Wisdom School has been a defining chapter in my journey—one that has deepened my understanding of leadership and strengthened my connection to the school community.
In my first year, I focused on finding my voice and becoming responsible. This year, I’ve learned to use that voice to create impact. I’ve moved beyond personal growth to focus on collective progress—bringing students together, bridging communication, and ensuring every voice is heard. Whether leading assemblies, organizing events, or navigating challenges with my peers, I’ve come to appreciate that leadership is less about being in front and more about walking alongside others.
This role has taught me that change doesn’t always come in big moments; often, it’s in the quiet consistency of showing up, supporting others, and staying true to your values. I’m grateful to Pearl Wisdom School for shaping me to who I am and trusting me to help shape the experiences of others.

Samuel D’Costa

To hold the position of Vice President twice in a row at Pearl Wisdom School, Dubai, is both an honour and a responsibility. This role is not about recognition or a title but a genuine commitment to fulfilling the school’s mission and contributing to its success stories.

When I joined this school, I was initially apprehensive about transitioning from my previous institution. However, Pearl Wisdom School has exceeded all my expectations. Over time, I have evolved from being a critical observer to an active problem solver. I actively participate in events and take immense pride in being part of the change we envision for our school.

One of the aspects I truly appreciate is how my voice, and that of every student, is valued. Students’ ideas are not only heard but also taken into consideration, fostering a culture of collaboration.

I am deeply grateful to my mentors and peers who have supported and inspired me on this journey. As the Vice President, I am committed to guiding and serving the student body, fostering an environment where every student can thrive and feel empowered to shape their future.

I feel honoured and privileged to serve as the Director of Innovation at Pearl Wisdom School. In this role, I am deeply committed to enhancing the educational experience by championing innovation, promoting sustainability, and empowering students. My objective is to cultivate a dynamic and future-ready learning environment where every student is inspired to thrive and reach their full potential.
I lead projects that bring new technologies and approaches into the classroom, making learning more interactive and exciting. I’m also passionate about professional development and enjoy encouraging both students and teachers to embrace fresh challenges. As a recognized leader in science and innovation competitions across the Middle East, I believe school should feel like an adventure—not a chore.
Looking ahead, I plan to further develop my public speaking skills and continue promoting sustainability, helping our school move toward a brighter, more innovative future.

Three weeks ago, I began my journey as the Assistant Director of Innovation in the Student Council. It has been a fun and exciting experience where I’ve learned to think creatively, listen to others, and work as a team.
At Pearl Wisdom School, we are given great opportunities to grow. The school provides leadership roles that help us step out of our shell, take responsibility, and develop confidence. Being part of the Student Executive Team has helped me discover new strengths and learn how to work with others to bring positive change.

I am a vibrant and enthusiastic learner who brings energy, charm, and grace to every stage I step on. Having been a proud part of Pearl Wisdom School for 3 years, I have had countless opportunities to grow and showcase my talents.
From being an active member of the Student Council for the second consecutive year, to performing with the school choir, representing our school at NMSMUN 2024, every experience has shaped me into the confident and driven individual I am today.
As the Director of Cultural Activities, I wish to serve my beloved school and all stakeholders– teachers, parents, school management, support staff and especially my fellow learners. I am committed to serving our school and its vibrant community. Despite being a recent addition to this bright community, I have been welcomed with open arms and given countless opportunities that have allowed me to learn, grow, and express myself.

As I step into my role as the Director of Editorial, my goal is to help every student uncover that voice and amplify it through the pages of the school magazine—an embodiment of how diverse, compassionate, and bold we are.
Leadership, I’ve learned, is about truly seeing others—recognizing and celebrating our differences, and lifting each other up through even the smallest of actions, all grounded in teamwork, honesty, and hard work.

This position has given me the opportunity to lead my peers and become a valuable member of the school community.
As part of my responsibilities, I work closely with the Director of Editorial and the English Department to achieve my goal of ensuring that every piece we publish not only informs but also inspires our school community.

I’m Parvathi Prasanth, and I believe that real learning goes far beyond textbooks and tests—it begins when a student feels seen, heard, and empowered. As the Director of Learning at Pearl Wisdom School, my role is to nurture an environment where curiosity is celebrated, creativity is encouraged, and every child is inspired to discover their full potential.
My journey in education has taken me through diverse roles, classrooms, and communities over the past 15 years—each one teaching me something new about how children learn, and more importantly, why they learn. I’ve always been drawn to the heart of the learning process: the spark in a student’s eyes when they understand something deeply, or the excitement of a teacher who’s discovered a new way to connect with their learners.
At Pearl Wisdom School, we blend strong academic foundations with a value-driven, child-centred approach. Our goal is to raise not just knowledgeable students, but thoughtful, compassionate individuals who are ready to contribute meaningfully to the world. I work closely with our dedicated educators to design learning experiences that are engaging, reflective, and relevant to the lives our students lead.

I’m Druvika, the Director of Well-being at Pearl Wisdom School, Dubai. Although I’m new to the school, I’ve already experienced its strong sense of community and the shared commitment to prioritizing each student’s well-being alongside their academic growth.
In my role, it’s my responsibility to ensure that everyone feels supported—whether you’re dealing with stress, feeling overwhelmed, or facing physical challenges. No concern is too small, and you’re always welcome to reach out. I’m here to listen and to help.
I’m passionate about helping students find balance—whether through academics, sports, or cultural activities. My goal is to foster an environment where students feel cared for in every aspect of their lives, and where both mental and physical well-being are given the attention they deserve.

Being entrusted with the role of Executive Officer for Anti-Bullying is an honour I once thought was beyond my reach. This was made possible by the unwavering support and encouragement of my peers. This role isn’t just a title, it’s a responsibility to help foster a safe, respectful environment for all students at Pearl Wisdom School.
I believe every student has a voice that deserves to be valued, heard, and respected. Having experienced what it feels like to be picked on and teased by those around me, I understand the importance of having someone students can relate to and confide in.
Joining Pearl Wisdom School was a big step for me—leaving behind old companions and starting over. At first, I was hesitant and reserved, reluctant to open up. But with the support of my mentors and peers, I was encouraged to take on new challenges, participate in discussions, and engage in school programs. The positive reinforcement helped me discover the best version of myself. I’ve become a more active and involved student—committed to tackling problems, contributing meaningfully, and staying engaged.
As I take on this role, I’m eager to work with the Student Executive Team to build a safe, inclusive environment—one where our zero-tolerance policy on bullying is upheld, and where awareness, empathy, and kindness are promoted throughout the student body.

 

Alan Sam Manoj

I started off as a shy and hesitant student, unsure about participating in school events. However, the school authorities recognized my potential and nominated me for the elections each year. My journey began as a class prefect, and today, I proudly serve as the Health and Safety Officer of our school. I truly owe it to Pearl Wisdom School for nurturing me into a self-confident and vibrant individual.
I am someone who always prioritizes safety and understands the importance of health. However, I believe that is not enough—I must also ensure that everyone around me is equally aware and mindful. I feel responsible for making sure our school is a safe space for all, where both physical safety and mental well-being are valued and protected.
As a dedicated and responsible individual, I am committed to maintaining a safe and healthy environment where every student feels at home—where school truly becomes a second home. I work closely with my friends and peers to make sure their concerns are heard and addressed. Together, we strive to make the school the best it can be.

UAE Ambassador

I am truly grateful to Pearl Wisdom School for the warm welcome and continuous encouragement I received since the day I joined. As a relatively quiet and introverted child, I initially found it challenging to step out of my comfort zone. However, the nurturing environment and supportive teachers helped me uncover my hidden potential and gave me the confidence to grow. Thanks to the school’s encouragement, I was selected for several prestigious competitions and events, including the BME English Declamation Competition, the NMS MUN 2024 and the BME Hindi Poetica among many others. These opportunities have helped me evolve not only as a student but also as a confident speaker, a team player, and a young leader.
It is an honour to serve as the UAE Ambassador for Pearl Wisdom School for the academic year 2025–26. I have a deep interest in exploring the rich culture and heritage of the UAE, as well as learning about global cultures and perspectives. In this role, I aim to represent our school with pride, curiosity, and cultural appreciation. Alongside my academic journey, I actively participate in various student activities and am pursuing my passions in singing and The Indian Classical Kathak dance. Balancing studies with extracurricular interests has helped me grow holistically, and I remain committed to giving my best in every area.

When I first joined Pearl Wisdom School three years ago, I was content being a quiet observer—reluctant to voice my opinions or step beyond the routine of schoolwork. Speaking up, taking initiative, or putting myself forward felt intimidating.
Over time, however, Pearl Wisdom School, Dubai has transformed me into someone more confident, proactive, and engaged. The supportive environment here gently encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone, explore my potential, and embrace challenges. Through encouragement from teachers, camaraderie with peers, and active participation in school events—especially sports and inter-school competitions—I began to discover my voice and the importance of teamwork, resilience, and leadership.
Serving as the Director of Sports is a proud continuation of that journey. It’s both an honour and a responsibility to represent a school that has played such a vital role in shaping who I am. As the newly inducted Student Executive Team is ready to run and serve the student community this year at Pearl Wisdom School, I Sarah Ann Victor find myself empowered to lead the school along with the Director of Sports to a year filled with athletic pursuits and achievements.
Sports as a singular pursuit inculcates core values like discipline, hard work, perseverance and fair play. It not only requires skill but also mental resolve.
At Pearl we may not yet boast of championship titles, but we must celebrate every step taken towards the goal, from turning up for morning routines to small group matches, inter and intraschool games, balancing sports and academics, all of it in itself is a victory. Let’s nurture this growing spirit one game, one effort, one lesson at a time.

I proudly became a part of Pearl Wisdom School, Dubai, from last year. From the very beginning, I was welcomed into a vibrant and supportive school community that encourages growth, values academic excellence, and promotes sports and extracurricular activities.
